COVID Policy

2024-25 COVID Testing and Masking Requirements

Each camper must:

1. provide at least 2 COVID rapid antigen tests for use before / during camp (e.g., BinaxNow, FlowFlex, etc.) We recommend bringing a 3rd test in case COVID symptoms develop after their second test.

2. have tested negative for COVID from a rapid antigen test taken up to 24 hours before arriving at camp. They can take a photograph of the result, or they can take the test upon arrival.

3. mask indoors (with the exception of meals and sleeping) for a period of at least 24 hours after arrival until testing negative a second time. A camp-wide test will be conducted the evening of the 28th, but those who arrive late need to ensure that their second test occurs at least 24 hours after their own arrival.

4. test for COVID again at any point during camp if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID.

If all of the above criteria are met, masking will be optional for the camper.

Anyone who tests positive for COVID at camp will likely be asked to leave, after determining a course of action with the camp nurse. Any close contacts of the camper will be asked to mask for the rest of the week. 

Anyone who tests positive directly before or during camp will receive a prorated refund.

We care about our community's health and wellbeing. We are monitoring public health recommendations for limiting Covid spread and will keep you informed as we make final decisions on this year's Covid policy in the fall.
